Step 3: Take your target to the range and shoot.
Step 4: POST a picture of your target on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #BergaraSummerShootout & tag @Bergara_Rifles to be entered into the drawing.
Step 5: You are entered to WIN!
We understand Instagram/Facebook is limited the view of the hashtag, all posts with Bergara tagged will be honored as entries.

ENTRY
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. This contest is open only to natural persons (i.e., not corporate or business entities) who, at the time of entry, are legal residents of the United States, and who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Participation in the Contest constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Contest Rules. By providing your entry you give full and unlimited rights to Blackpowder Products, Inc. to use, edit, broadcast, and reproduce as Blackpowder Products, Inc. chooses.
By entering you agree to marketing communication from Blackpowder Product, Inc, and the following giveaway partners; Silencer Central, Vortex Optics, Wiebad, Warne, Lapua, and Gators Eyewear.
All entries submitted are final and become the property of Blackpowder Products, Inc.. Winners will be required to provide their name, address, and daytime telephone number. All entry information submitted must be true and correct. Entrants agree that by entering the contest, they warrant that they are eligible to participate and that the information provided is true and correct.
Proof of transmission of an entry will not constitute proof of receipt of said entry. Blackpowder Products, Inc. assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, or mutilated entries or for any computer, online, or technical malfunctions that may occur. Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address, Instagram or Facebook account submitted at the time of entry.
“Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address, Instagram, or Facebook account by an Internet Access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. All entries become the property of Blackpowder Products, Inc. and will not be returned to the entrant. The potential winner may be requested to provide Blackpowder Products, Inc. with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address, Instagram, or Facebook account associated with a winning entry.
ELIGIBILITY
The Bergara Promotion is open only to natural persons (i.e., not corporate or business entities) who, at the time of entry, are legal residents of the United States and who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Participants must not be residents of the following states; California, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Delaware.
Upon entering this promotion, entrants agree to waive any rights their state of residence may provide in regard to contests. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, directors, officers, and principals of Blackpowder Products, Inc., their subsidiaries, affiliates, contractors, agents, and their immediate families (e.g., parents, children, siblings, and spouses), are not eligible to participate.
HOW TO ENTER

Download and print your Bergara Summer Shootout target. Shoot a group with your rifle.
Post a picture of your target on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #BergaraSummerShootout and tag Bergara_Rifles to be entered into the drawing.
The Submission Period ends on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
BERGARA SUMMER SHOOTOUT RULES:
- Form submission is equal to one entry.
- One target is equal to one entry. Unlimited target entries are allowed.
- The more targets you shoot and take pictures of, the more entries you will get into the drawing.
- Bonus entry if your photo has your target AND a Bergara rifle in it.
- The winner will be chosen at random and not based on accuracy or group size.
- Limited to U.S. participants only, and non-residents of California, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Delaware. The winner must be age 21+.
- By submitting, you warrant that the photo you submit is original and is your own, and does not infringe on the rights of any third party. You further warrant that your participation in this photo contest does not violate any agreement between you and a third party.
- By submitting your photos, you grant Bergara the non-exclusive right to publish, use, distribute, reproduce, and publicly display your text, photograph, and/or video to create derivative works from your photograph, in perpetuity, in any of its online, print or other media publications, materials or exhibitions, for promotional purposes, including but not limited to for editorial, advertising, and publicity, without payment or compensation unless prohibited by law. You grant Bergara permission to provide your name, and your city and state of residence, when publishing, reproducing, or otherwise using your photo and when identifying you as an entrant or prize winner in the testimonial contest. While Bergara will make every effort to credit photographers when using photos, there may be circumstances where it is not possible to do so. Subject to the rights granted to Bergara, you retain all other copyrights and rights to future use of the photographs you enter into the contest.
- If your photograph(s) include a recognizable person or people, you must secure permission from each person (or in the case of a minor, the minor’s parent or guardian) to use his/her image in the photo contest, and present it to Bergara, if requested. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify an entry if it finds, in its sole discretion, that an entrant has not secured a necessary release.
- Any photos containing offensive content will not be eligible. All content must be appropriate for posting on a website that may be viewed by anyone. Obscene, provocative, or otherwise questionable content will not be considered and will result in disqualification of the content. Bergara retains sole discretion to determine what constitutes inappropriate content.
- Bergara reserves the right to modify any photo to fit spatial and branding requirements.
WINNER SELECTION
The selection of this winner will be the sole responsibility of the representatives of Bergara. They will be selected from all eligible submissions. The decision of the committee is final and binding. The prize winner will be selected at random. The winner will be notified through email, Instagram, or Facebook account. If the winner is unreachable, or if the winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment. Any attempted prize notification that is returned as undeliverable means that no prize will be awarded.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
By August 10th, 2023, winners will be notified by Bergara using the e-mail address, Instagram or Facebook Account they provided with their submission. The prize must be claimed within seven (7) days. To claim the prize, the winner must respond to the prize notification e-mail or message and may be required to provide proof of identity, address, and birth date and/or execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, and, except where prohibited by law, a publicity release. The winner cannot be a resident of a state where silencers aren’t legal – California, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Delaware. The winner must be age 21+. Prize not claimed within seven (7) days will be forfeited. Bergara will select alternate winners for any unclaimed/forfeited prizes if a sufficient number of eligible and/or qualified entries remain. Any portion of a prize not accepted by the winner will be forfeited. If an entrant changes his/her e-mail address, Instagram or Facebook, or phone number after he/she enters the promotion, it is his/her sole responsibility to notify Bergara by emailing [email protected] by the end of the Promotion Period. The winner is solely responsible for all costs, incidentals, and any other expenses not specifically mentioned as being included in the Prize. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prize may not be returned or exchanged for cash. Prize may not be transferred or substituted except by Bergara, who reserves the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
All entrants agree that Bergara may, without permission or additional compensation, publish, display and otherwise use their name, likeness and submitted materials, if any, for promotional purposes.
Promotion entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Blackpowder Products, Inc. Corp., which are final on all matters pertaining to the Bergara Promotion. The Bergara Promotion is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. All taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Return of any prize pack as undeliverable may result in no prize pack being issued to that entrant.
Entrants agree that Blackpowder Products, Inc. may use, for its own business purposes, including sales and marketing and emailing to the email address provided, any and all entry information and information required of winners. However, Blackpowder Products, Inc. will not intentionally or willfully provide any such entry information or information required from winners to any third party, except as may be, in its reasonable judgment, required by law. Blackpowder Products, Inc. and its employees and agents shall not be responsible or liable for inadvertent disclosure of information provided by an entrant. Winners who accept any prize pack grant permission to Blackpowder Products, Inc. to edit, publish, and otherwise use their names for promotional and publicity purposes without further compensation or consideration. Blackpowder Products, Inc. may also arrange to publicize any or all prizewinners. Each prizewinner hereby consents and grants permission to Blackpowder Products, Inc. to permit any news or other information-gathering agency or institution to document, make a record of, and use his or her name in the ordinary course of its news and information gathering and dissemination activities.
Each winner, and not Blackpowder Products, Inc., is solely responsible for all other arrangements, costs, and expenses associated with and receiving their prize, including without limitation, any taxes or other fees imposed by a government authority. Blackpowder Products, Inc.’s decisions regarding the administration of the Bergara Promotion, eligibility of entrants, and selection of potential and actual winners will be final and binding in all respects.
This Promotion is not associated with Facebook or Instagram in any way whatsoever and is in no way Sponsored, supported, or organized by Facebook or Instagram. Neither Facebook nor Instagram is responsible for any content published within the context of this action. It is not Facebook or Instagram, but Bergara, that receives the information supplied by Entrants. Bergara holds Facebook and Instagram harmless from any recourse by third parties in connection with this Promotion. Any questions, comments, or complaints against the action are not to be addressed to Facebook or Instagram, but to Bergara by writing to [email protected].
Participation in this Promotion is considered a complete release of Facebook and Instagram by each Entrant.
PRIZES
No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted except by Blackpowder Products, Inc. Blackpowder Products, Inc. reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Prize is subject to change without notice.
CONDUCT
By entering this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Blackpowder Products, Inc. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest or web site; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; enter more than once each calendar month or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Blackpowder Products, Inc. is not responsible for and may disqualify entries that are lost, late, incomplete, invalid, illegible, misdirected, failed transmissions, or partial or garbled transmissions, whether the result of human, mechanical, or electronic error or whether in the transmission, submission, or processing of the entries or otherwise. Blackpowder Products, Inc. assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, or authorized or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Blackpowder Products, Inc. is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or entrants on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Promotion. If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Blackpowder Products, Inc. which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, Blackpowder Products, Inc. reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion. Blackpowder Products, Inc. reserves the right to disqualify any entry of an entrant who is found tampering with the entry process or with the conduct or operation of any Promotion or in violation of these Official Promotion Rules.
This Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Promotion shall be interpreted and governed by the substantive laws of the State of Georgia and any applicable laws and regulations of the United States, without reference to any conflicts of laws principles. Any and all applicable taxes and other government fees, levies, or surcharges are, to the maximum extent allowed by law, the sole and exclusive responsibility of the prizewinners. Unless prohibited by law, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims, or actions associated with any and/or all of the Promotions, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under the commercial rules of the American Arbitration Association. The foregoing arbitration clause is intended to preempt, to the maximum extent possible, recourse to litigation in the federal and state courts. By entering, entrants, to the maximum extent permitted by law, release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with any Promotion or any prize won. Entrants further agree that no claims, judgments or awards shall exceed the amount of the contest prize and under no circumstances shall include attorneys’ fees; nor shall any entrant be permitted to obtain awards for punitive, incidental, consequential or other similar damages or have any damage awards multiplied or increased for any reason. By accepting any prize, the entrant agrees to release Blackpowder Products, Inc. from any and all liability and hold it, its principals, directors, officers, employees, and agents harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, or actions arising out of entrant’s acceptance, receipt or use of any prize.
