Our Small Batch Series is a way for us to bring finely tuned, hand-crafted firearms to niche markets. Limited to a batch size of 200, the inaugural launch of the Small Batch Series kicks off with the Sidekick.

The Sidekick features a side-folding arm brace and custom-built Multicam Black Cerakote® chassis. Built to be light, compact, and versatile, the 10.5″ barrel gets the job done in many situations. It’s the perfect companion for the range, hunting, vehicle, or stowed away in your pack for long walks in the woods.

Bergara’s Sidekick is available in .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor and .223 Wylde (Shipping Spring/Summer 2021)

Bergara Barrel

Live in a state where you can hunt with a pistol during muzzleloader seasons? The Bergara Sidekick is ready. This barrel, finished in Cerakote Graphite Black, is legal for special pistol seasons. It is suppressor ready, compact, packable, and deadly accurate.

Bergara Premier Action

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Enjoy it. The Sidekick’s Premier action is fluted, stainless, and you can field strip the firing pin without any tools. The action is designed as a two-lug system that features a separate floating bolt head to ensure contact with the lug abutments in the action. It also features a cone-shaped bolt face for smooth feeding of the cartridge, and a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor located in the front of the lower locking lug. Fully Nitrided bolt with Graphite Black Cerakoted action.

Black Collar Arms Chassis

We custom developed the Sidekick’s chassis with Black Collar Arms so form meets function. It’s lightweight aluminum chassis, with integrated Arca Swiss rail, aids in the integration of multiple accessories. It features an ambidextrous mag release, ergonomic pistol grip, and is hard coat anodized in Multicam Black Cerakote.

SB Tactical Folding Brace

The folding pistol brace was designed to deliver stability and accuracy. Highly portable, it folds out of the way so the Sidekick is easily pack-able and discreetly fits into backpacks. It even ships with the Eberlestock S27 Little Trick because you never want to leave your Sidekick at home.

TriggerTech Trigger

Our partnership with TriggerTech was to create a world-class experience for every user of any Bergara Rifle. TriggerTech’s patented Frictionless Release Technology increases performance and accuracy for the end-user by eliminating creep and heavy pull weights. Even in the most rugged conditions, it maintains its premium performance, delivering greater precision and safety with every shot.

Eberlestock S27 Little Trick

Eberlestock has a long history of designing carry systems for premium weapons. Bergara chose the Little Trick to pair perfectly with the Sidekick. It’s a great looking EDC pack with an edgy, modern-executive style. This pack features two interior sleeves for laptop and documents, a quick-access built-in pistol holster, and an expandable bottom for carrying your Sidekick.

Small Batch Challenge Coin

Every Small Batch weapon is special, and so are its owners. Each run comes with a Small Batch Challenge Coin. The coin is custom made from Bergara barrel drops (the portion of the barrel that is left over when it is cut to length) and designates the batch number. Collect one, or collect them all, and enjoy the club.
